August is a big month astrologically. Mercury will officially leave its post-retrograde shadow and then on August 9 will finally leave Cancer where it's been for over two months for the sign of Leo where it will connect with Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
Venus will be the first planet to change signs this month however, leaving Virgo for Libra, the sign she rules on August 6, while Mars leaves Gemini where it's been for the last 6 weeks for Cancer.
Of course, the major news is the New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12 (followed by the full moon eclipse in Pisces on August 28.)
With the New Moon Eclipse coming just after the peak of the Lion's Gate Portal on August 8, when the Sun aligns with the star Sirius, important new beginnings are coming in.
This eclipse trines Saturn so the beginnings are realistic and strategically geared for longer-term success and prosperity. It's a very potent activation (as I discuss in my latest podcast episode, going out later in the week..)
